A Gnome goes to War! Larnaca, Cyprus

Dear travel diary;

I've been drafted!  My country needs me!  I'm off to WAR!  Today I find myself supporting a mission in Larnaca, Cyprus.  I have my tan uniform and braving the heat in service of my country.  Larnaca is a working class city on the east coast of the island of Cyprus.  It has a beautiful coast line...and is completely topless!  This is one Greek country I don't mind visiting!

A bus tour to Nicosia, Cyprus

Dear travel diary;

Today a group of friends and I are taking a bus tour to Nicosia, Cyprus.  Along the way I found a box of Happy Cookies.  They were pretty good, they even made me happy!  Well, all cookies make me happy.
Thankfully the bus driver knew where he was going because all the road signs are in Greek and the city is know locally as Lefkosia.  It's very confusing for just a little garden gnome.  Nicosia is the capital city of Cyprus and is on the only divided capital city in the world.  An ancient wall forms a ring around the city and since the Turkish invasion in 1974, the city has been divided in half.
