Today a group of friends and I are taking a bus tour to Nicosia, Cyprus. Along the way I found a box of Happy Cookies. They were pretty good, they even made me happy! Well, all cookies make me happy.
Thankfully the bus driver knew where he was going because all the road signs are in Greek and the city is know locally as Lefkosia. It's very confusing for just a little garden gnome. Nicosia is the capital city of Cyprus and is on the only divided capital city in the world. An ancient wall forms a ring around the city and since the Turkish invasion in 1974, the city has been divided in half.
