Ice cream in Kingston

Dear travel diary;

Today we find ourselves eating ice cream at centennial park in Kingston, Ontario.  And the best part is the local band "the greater unwashed" is playing down town.

A wonderful day while we wait for the bike to be repaired.

A break down in Kingston

Dear travel diary;

Today a terrible thing happened during our ride to Kingston, Ontario.  We had a major break down on the motorcycle!  All the back spokes broke on the rear tire. Thankfully no one was hurt and the bike was able to pull safely to the side of the road.  A quick internet search provided a local repair shop.  The guys from Motor Sport Plus came, picked up the bike and rescued us from the side of the road.

Let's just hope the repairs are completed quickly so we can continue with our trip.

Snow Boarding

Dear travel diary;

Today I'm all set for winter.  I got my snow board and all I am waiting for now is snow.  Its almost Christmas and there is no snow in sight.  In fact all we are getting lately is rain.  I can't snow board in the rain!

Hockey lock out means higher unemployment

Dear travel diary;

Today I'm worried for my Gnomey friends.  With this hockey lock out, many of my Gnomey friends who work in the hockey industry are hurting.  Now they are forced to find other work.  Some of them are even trying to find work as Christmas decorations!  Just a shame...

Gnomey Friends Visit

Dear travel diary;

Today a few good friends of mine dropped by for a visit and a couple of drinks.  Katie and Sabrina came over and we broke out the Malibu Rum!  What a great night, but a very rough morning.

Ugh, a very rough morning.  But after a few aspirins and water, I'm ready for my next adventure!

Sincerely Nestor the Gnome.
