Today I find myself talking with Peter McKay, the Minister of National Defense for Canada. Mr. McKay came for a visit while we are deployed for Operation Nanook 2012. This lawyer and politician from Nova Scotia has a great sense of humour and big respect for the men and women who serve in the Armed Forces....and very tall! Well, tall from a garden gnome's perspective.
